These administrative records, photographs, and maps relate to the founding of the sanctuary, its administration, and the plants and animals living there. Included are the warden's annual reports, monthly reports, and daily logs; internship reports; financial records, including annual budgets, bills, receipts, and records from the gift shop; correspondence; questionnaires completed by sanctuary visitors; the warden's ten-year master plan report (1983); photographs of flora and fauna; and maps, including a land use map of Woodford County and geological and climatological surveys of the sanctuary.
